Zero-Water Production in a Thirsty Region

In a water-scarce region, how much water a material consumes matters as much as how much carbon it emits.

Conventional reinforced concrete uses water at almost every stage — mixing, curing and washing down. Across an equivalent production volume, that adds up to roughly 46.8 million litres a year.

To put that in perspective, it is comparable to the annual drinking-water needs of around 60,000 people.

QGPC's polymer concrete is resin-bound and cures chemically, so it uses no water in production — conserving a precious resource while delivering a stronger, longer-lasting product.
